Why Dispute Established Religions?

This writing is not intended to be a complete telling of this topic, but with a thought to brevity, it should allow for good learning.
Probably no topic or issue can stand alone without consideration for information from other topics and issues.  Therefore, for better understanding of terms and concepts used herein, other papers should be read in conjunction with this paper and others.  One in particular for early reading is What is in a Name

Some may ask "why pick apart the doctrines of established religions" or "would it not be better to simply find the truth and ignore (leave alone) the established religions" and other similar type comments.

Some of the answers should be evident without any need to expound, but ----

The "motivation" is not to dispute, but to find truth.  If established religions have been practicing their methods and beliefs for hundreds or thousands of years, then surely they have gotten the bugs out of the lessons and therefore should be nearly prefect.  As such, I (or anyone else) should be able to learn from their doctrines and beliefs.

So take a doctrine or belief of long standing reproof and compare the Scripture with the profession.  It should match and shed light to your path.

If it does not match and/or you find the doctrine to be false or in someway wrong - and it must be false or wrong if it does not agree with Scripture - then you now know a direction NOT TO TAKE and have narrowed you choices.

Besides, Yahshua condemn the traditions of men as being contrary to the Law (as conveyed through Moses).

It sounds easy enough to leave bad doctrine alone, but when a follower of bad doctrine hears or reads the truth which contradicts the bad doctrine, they will often ask something like "but, what about ......".  Then you can either be rude and ignore them or explain why the bad doctrine is bad.

Ironically, it is usually "christians" who most often take offense to their bad doctrines being attacked.  Then they will say something about how you should not be so pushy and should not condemn other religions.  But, is it not the "christians" who have sent missionaries to all parts of the world telling others their religion is wrong or that they need to have religion and to CONVERT those who did not believe as the "christian".  Why do the christians not take their own advise and leave alone the other religions and quit being so pushy?  Maybe the christians believe it is OK for them to promote their false religions and the truth should not be encouraged.

DO NOT mis-understand.  This is not a bashing of "christians", or any other religion.  Read the papers associated with this site (book) and learn that the basis for belief is the same, but the sheep of christians have been lead down a wrong path on many points and issues.
