Red sauce
line # qty ingredients notes
1 3 qts tomatoes or tomato puree 
2 1 tsp sweet basil 
3 1 carrot
4 2 bay leaves

Directions

Add ingredients.  Include meat balls if desired. 
Cook over a low heat so that it will not stick.  STIR occasionally. 

When finished, be sure to remove leaves and carrots, because they will not cook into sauce.
